Well, we live in a world where are often flooded with busyness, distractions, just plain exhaustion.
Come join us! Before we as a community commit to fasting different things through the season of Lent (6 weeks before Easter) we are going to feast and celebrate God's goodness in a time fellowship over pancakes and sausage. Tuesday February 28th 6:00 P.M. at the church building.
Free will offering.
We will need plenty of people to bring some chili to share. If you can also bring a dessert that would be great. It's more than just about a contest...it's about enjoying a meal together as a church.
There will be plenty of places to plug in your chili pot. It will take some time for you to get into the building and your chili situated so make sure you arrive with plenty of time to be ready for our abbreviated service at 10 AM.
This event will be at The Harmon Park Activity Center.
We will highlight accomplishments and obstacles of the last year and share the vision and goals.
Annual Chili Cook-off. Sunday February 12th 10:00 AM. We will have a shortened service at Harmon Park Activity Center that day and Chili Cook-off will follow. Bring a Chili to enter and a side or dessert to share. You could win the trophy this year!!!

We usually come to the book of Job looking to be consoled during times of suffering, and then we walk away from it Confused. We will walk through this book together and discover what it says about suffering, justice, and Jesus.
